About the role
Are you a developer who is eager to learn new things and not afraid to step in to the unknown? We are looking for a full stack developer to our web-based recruitment platform irecommend. The platform was built in 2017, with a micro service approach, and you will be one of the first developers in the dedicated team that will continue to develop the platform. You will be given the opportunity to work on every component of the application. From server and database set up in MySQL and MongoDB to backend services in Go and Python to frontend components in React and React Native (mobile apps). Focus will be on developing the platform to meet the demands of the fast-growing Talentech Group while at the same time ensuring stability and scalability in the service via CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security best practices etc. Since both the platform and the team is relatively new you will have a great impact on the way forward when it comes to design and tech decisions.
To enjoy and succeed in this role you need a few years of web development experience. Experience of mobile app development or React Native would be an advantage, but the most important qualification is that you have a genuin interest in learning new things and are not afraid to step in to unknown territory. You appreciate working in a varied role with close collaboration to other team members but you have no problem working on your own and solving issues with the help of Google. Good communication skills in English are required, and you have experience with at least some of the following techniques and frameworks:
- Go (Golang)
- Relational databases
- React Native or other mobile app development frameworks
In this recruitment we use a short code assignment as part of the process, which will be used as a foundation for a technical interview.
